Photo Gallery: French National Day Drone Show and Fireworks Display Held in Advance

On Tuesday, July 14th, France will celebrate its National Day, also known as “Bastille Day,” amidst scorching heatwaves. With the third wave of heat hitting this summer, landmarks such as the Eiffel Tower have closed early, and many traditional National Day fireworks displays in various locations have been cancelled. However, the main event at the Eiffel Tower has been preserved, with festivities starting on Monday evening, July 13th.

As the highlight of the National Day celebrations, a spectacular 35-minute fireworks show and drone performance took place on Monday night at 11 p.m. at the Champ-de-Mars in front of the Eiffel Tower. The event featured the use of 1,600 ultra-light drones equipped with LED lights and 360° diffusers, creating mesmerizing aerial displays of 12 visual scenes in the night sky. Coupled with a magnificent symphony of fireworks, it provided the audience with an unparalleled visual feast.

Before the fireworks show began, a free “Paris Night” concert was held at the Champ-de-Mars, opening with a performance by the Paris Grand Chorus. The event added to the festive ambiance leading up to the grand fireworks and drone spectacle.
