Two Injured as Helicopter Loses Control During Test Flight in Changzhou

In the afternoon of June 11th, a small helicopter in Jiangsu Changzhou lost control during low-altitude testing and made an emergency landing, causing the tail of the aircraft to break off and injuring two people.

Footage captured by eyewitnesses showed that on June 11th, in the Wujin District of Changzhou, a helicopter displayed abnormalities while on a lawn. The rotor blades kept spinning, and the body of the aircraft shook and rotated violently. Inside the cabin, one person appeared to be unconscious, while another person was partially thrown out of the cabin.

It was verified by journalists from “Extreme News” that the location of the incident was near Haihu Road in Changzhou, Jiangsu Province. Local officials confirmed that the incident occurred on the 11th with two people onboard the helicopter. As of that afternoon, both individuals were reported to be out of danger.

According to reports from “The Beijing News,” around 2 p.m. on June 11th, a small helicopter belonging to Zonglian Aviation Technology Co., Ltd. in Wujin District, Changzhou, Jiangsu Province lost control during low-altitude testing and had to make an emergency landing. The two individuals on board have been hospitalized for treatment, and their conditions are currently stable. The Jiangsu Civil Aviation Administration has initiated an investigation into the cause of the accident.

Public records indicate that Zonglian Aviation Technology Co., Ltd. was established in September 2021 and is located in the Wujin National High-Tech Industrial Development Zone, primarily engaged in the production and maintenance of civil aircraft (engines, propellers), as well as research, sales, and technical consultancy of related components.
