Recently, a netizen encountered a sudden downpour while visiting a theme park in Xuzhou, Jiangsu. The video posted by the netizen shows visitors on the “Flying in the Air” ride spinning 360 degrees in the pouring rain. Some netizens jokingly commented, “360-degree shower with no blind spots.”
On September 1st, Ms. Peng, who shared the video, told Hebei Economic TV that on August 30th, she and her friends went to Joy World in Xuzhou for a day of fun. When they entered the park, it was still sunny. However, around 4:50 pm, as the visitors boarded the “Flying in the Air” ride, the equipment started spinning, and moments later, a heavy downpour began. The rain came and went swiftly, lasting only about 10 minutes, leaving the visitors drenched as if they had been bathed in soup.
In the video comments, many netizens humorously remarked, “A thorough 360-degree shower.” “The drenching is quite even, even knows how to turn over.” “Filling the gap of washing machines that can’t wash people and clothes together.” “New theme park attractions: ‘Rolling in the Rain’ and ‘Fully Automatic People Washer.'” “Very considerate, flipping over to avoid drowning.” “Their clothes must have come out clean after that.”
In response to this incident, the staff at Joy World in Xuzhou stated to the Jumux News that no visitors were injured that day. “Whenever it rains, outdoor rides are inevitably affected. We recommend visiting when the weather is good.”
