The Ketagalan Forum: 2025 Indo-Pacific Security Dialogue, which will take place on the 5th, is set to feature former UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson as a keynote speaker. He will be attending the event and meeting with senior officials from the government of the Republic of China (Taiwan).
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of China, in collaboration with the Prospect Foundation, is organizing the 9th Ketagalan Forum: 2025 Indo-Pacific Security Dialogue on the 5th at the Grand Hyatt Taipei.
In a press release today (August 1st), the Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed that through this platform, they aim to enhance interaction and dialogue with various parties, as well as to increase international attention on security issues in the Indo-Pacific region.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated, “This year’s forum will feature special keynote speeches by former UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson and former President of the French National Assembly François de Rugy. Additionally, 12 dignitaries and experts from 10 countries including the United States, Japan, Europe, and the Indo-Pacific region will join us to discuss topics such as the security situation in the Indo-Pacific, responses to gray zone provocations, as well as the impact of economic, technological, and industrial diplomacy on international politics.”
