Taylor Swift becomes the world’s richest female musician with a net worth of 1.6 billion dollars.

American pop music singer Taylor Swift, 34, has recently reached a net worth of $16 billion. According to the latest statistics from Forbes, Taylor Swift has surpassed pop diva Rihanna’s $14 billion, becoming the wealthiest female singer in the world.

Forbes, known for its focus on celebrity business and wealth reports, announced on October 7 that Taylor Swift has claimed the title of the world’s richest female singer. Reports indicate that Taylor Swift currently owns a net worth of $16 billion, with a significant portion of her income coming from her world tour The Eras Tour launched last year, which alone generated $600 million in merchandise rights and ticket sales, $600 million in music rights income, and an additional $125 million from real estate investments.

Taylor Swift’s fortune has been steadily growing this year. Following her official entry into Forbes’ “billionaire” list in April, it was revealed on May 31 that her net worth had exceeded $13 billion, an increase of $2 billion compared to October last year. With her hugely successful “Eras Tour” last year, in less than five months, her wealth grew by another $300 million, surpassing Rihanna’s $14 billion.

Data shows that if all singers irrespective of gender are considered together, Taylor Swift’s assets rank her as the second wealthiest singer in the world; with rapper Jay-Z, husband of Beyoncé, leading as the wealthiest musician with $25 billion in assets, and Rihanna ranking third with $14 billion.

Of note, Taylor Swift’s net worth in 2020 was only $365 million, but in just four years her fortune has rapidly grown approximately 3.5 times due to her global tours.
