On August 1st, which is the Chinese Communist Party’s Army Day, the well-known anti-communist hacker group “Anonymous 64” announced on social media that they had breached the websites of two military schools in Anhui and Shaanxi provinces. They posted messages stating that the Chinese Communist military “has never been for protecting the people,” and that it is Xi Jinping’s “party army.”
“Anonymous 64” posted on Platform X, saying, “We are Anonymous 64. On August 1st, we are back. We have taken over the Naval Youth Aviation School in Anhui Province. The Chinese people support the Liberation Army with their hard-earned money, but they are incapable of fighting. This is Xi Jinping’s ‘strong army dream.'”
On August 1st, “Anonymous 64” carried out the first wave of hacking on the website of the Naval Youth Aviation School in Anhui Province, and the second wave on the website of the Naval Aviation School affiliated with Shaanxi Normal University.
The content inserted by “Anonymous 64” on the above-mentioned websites stated that the Chinese Communist military “has never been for defending the people,” and that the military primarily serves the interests of the party under Xi’s leadership. They claimed that the military is directed towards the people, solely focusing on maintaining stability, preserving political power, and protecting Xi’s core. They criticized the military for utilizing the people’s money for political purposes and internal conflicts, highlighting its inability to engage in actual warfare.
According to a screenshot, an article titled “Constantly Changing Generals, Amateurs Commanding Blindly” was inserted into the contemporary Chinese news website.
In response to this, “Anonymous 64” stated, “Very good, continue to join us and voice out for the grassroots in China.”
In recent years, “Anonymous 64” has frequently hacked into Chinese government websites. During the Fourth Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee of the Chinese Communist Party in October 2025, “Anonymous 64” announced that they had breached multiple official websites and intercepted secret high-level Communist Party meetings, exposing deception during the Five-Year Plan.
On June 4th, 2025, “Anonymous 64” claimed on Platform X that they had taken control of the People’s Liberation Army News mobile application and infiltrated websites of military schools and defense corporations.
In March 28th, 2025, “Anonymous 64” posted on Platform X that they had attacked several websites, including those of the military industry research and development association under the guise of the “Chinese Communist Public Security Bureau.”
The Chinese Communist Party has repeatedly accused this organization of being linked to Taiwan’s Cyber Army, a claim refuted by Taiwan’s Ministry of National Defense and Premier Zuo Rongtai. The Cyber Army of Taiwan’s Ministry of National Defense stated that the allegations made by the Chinese Communist Party are unfounded, emphasizing that it is the Communist Party’s actions that disrupt regional peace and stability.
On Platform X, the “Anonymous 64” account specifies its location as “China” and their slogan is: “Our power is unstoppable, and we will continue to spread the truth about the CCP.”
