“【Mark Time】Hezbollah Communication Equipment Targeted in Series of Blasts, Mossad Takes Action”

Recently, the whole world has been focusing on the wireless device explosions targeting Hezbollah members in Lebanon. This new type of warfare has been truly shocking. Although no one has claimed responsibility for these wireless device explosions, it is believed that only Israel would have the audacity and capability to carry out such acts. The incident feels like a scene from a 007 movie, targeting specific individuals with limited collateral damage to innocent civilians.

Launching large-scale targeted attacks on key Hezbollah members without the use of conventional weapons is a significant development. It is speculated that Israeli intelligence has gathered personal information on all Hezbollah members requiring hospitalization, many of whom were previously hidden within civilian populations. Their identities have now been exposed, revealing a multi-faceted operation.

On September 17, around 3:30 pm, a widespread explosion occurred in southern Lebanon and the eastern Bekaa Valley, originating from pagers carried by Hezbollah members. This explosion resulted in 12 fatalities and approximately 2,800 injuries, with 1,800 individuals requiring hospitalization, including the injury of the Iranian Ambassador to Lebanon. Hezbollah issued a statement holding Israel accountable for the series of pager explosions across Lebanon.

The following day, Lebanon experienced a second wave of wireless device explosions, this time targeting handheld radios used by Hezbollah members. These explosions were more destructive, causing 20 deaths and over 450 injuries.

Following the consecutive days of explosions involving Hezbollah’s communication devices, Israel launched its most intense airstrikes in nearly a year on the southern part of Lebanon on the evening of the 19th. Israeli forces claimed to have destroyed around 100 multiple rocket launchers and other targets during the two-plus hours of operation. These rocket launchers were reportedly aiming to launch rockets into northern Israel.

On the 18th, Israeli Defense Minister Gantz praised the “great achievement” of Israel’s intelligence, Mossad, and the entire defense apparatus in a speech concerning the situation in northern Israel. However, he did not directly reference the series of communication device explosions that had occurred in various locations across Lebanon in the past few days.
