BIGHIT MUSIC, the agency behind the boy band BTS, announced on July 18 on the group’s social media accounts and Weverse that member JIMIN (Park Ji-min) will release his second solo album “MUSE” on July 19.
JIMIN enlisted in the 5th Infantry Division of the South Korean Army on December 12 last year. This album follows his first solo album “FACE,” released in March 2023, making it a gap of 1 year and 4 months between his solo releases.
The agency revealed that the new album “MUSE” tells a story of searching for inspiration and includes seven songs, including the fan favorite “Closer Than This,” released in December last year. Various content prepared by JIMIN before his enlistment will also be gradually revealed.
On the same day, the agency also released a 27-second teaser video of JIMIN for “MUSE.” The album is set to be released at 1 p.m. Korean time on July 19.
