Video: On Mother’s Day, Yellow Orioles Shine in Nesting and Showing Motherly Love

On the occasion of Mother’s Day, Taiwan’s Alishan Forest Railway tour guide and ecologist Su Chia-hung shared with Global Epoch Times readers the heartwarming scene he captured of a yellow oriole raising its chicks. The precious images of maternal love on display are truly touching.

Su Chia-hung recently filmed the heartwarming scene of a yellow oriole feeding its three chicks.

Su Chia-hung mentioned that nowadays Taiwan mostly consists of small families with one or two children due to the declining birth rate. There’s an old saying that goes: “The tree wishes for tranquility but the wind keeps blowing, the child wishes to nurture but the parent doesn’t wait.” He pointed out that in today’s society, everyone is busy, with many people working in other cities and seldom visiting their parents. He reminded everyone that since parents are getting older, “we should still try our best, and during holidays, make sure to bring your children back home to visit their grandparents and let the elders enjoy moments of family bliss.”
