The CCTV footage showed that the TV cabinet caught fire around 2:40 am and the fire quickly spread. The living room was severely damaged by the fire afterwards.
According to Ms. Luo, the homeowner, a windproof candle lit at 6 o’clock that evening suddenly caught fire in the middle of the night, igniting nearby items and causing the fire. At that time, Ms. Luo and her family of three were all fast asleep, and thankfully their dog kept barking and running around, waking them up in time to escape with their lives.
