Bu Xueliang attended the press conference of the reality show “My Star Village Chief” in Taipei today, where he mentioned his close friend Huang Zijiao’s previous scandal involving possession of inappropriate materials related to minors. Reflecting on this issue, Bu Xueliang expressed his belief that one must face the consequences of their actions. Despite the situation, he made it clear that he could not simply cut off his friendship with Huang Zijiao.

Bu Xueliang, Huang Zijiao, and Zhang Xiaoyan have had a mentor-student relationship for many years. In the midst of the MeToo movement, Zhang Xiaoyan faced criticism from some netizens for allegedly covering up for Huang Zijiao. When asked about this, Bu Xueliang stated that he has privately expressed concern for her without divulging details. Regarding his contact with Huang Zijiao, Bu Xueliang emphasized the importance of not disturbing others during such times.

During the recent news frenzy, Bu Xueliang acknowledged the curiosity of journalists and addressed his perspective sternly, emphasizing that there is no excuse for wrongdoing and one must face the consequences. He concluded with a strong statement urging individuals to confront their mistakes head-on.

In his latest endeavor, Bu Xueliang joins Guo Hongzhi, Yao Yuanhao, Marska, and He Haochen in the new reality show “My Star Village Chief,” which focuses on the core spirit of SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals) to create a variety show set in rural Taiwan.

Bu Xueliang jokingly referred to the five-member group as the strongest team, with him serving as the intern village chief garnering high favorability among the villagers. He expressed confidence in the lineup for this show.

During the press conference teaser, viewers witnessed Guo Hongzhi and the elders performing a duet of “Double Pillow,” showcasing their singing prowess. Villagers praised Bu Xueliang’s appearance, commenting that he looks even better in person than on TV and never seems to age. An amusing moment occurred when an enthusiastic villager grabbed Marska’s hand, expressing excitement for a photo together, even mentioning that their son was a fan of Marska, leaving Marska puzzled and prompting a comment from Guo Hongzhi, “When did I make a movie?”

Not wanting to disappoint the villagers, Guo Hongzhi praised Marska’s film-making skills on the spot, emphasizing his talent in that area. The show features the five intern village chiefs immersing themselves in village life, collaborating with the locals to foster local revitalization and preserve cultural heritage, receiving accolades even from the local village chiefs for their heartfelt efforts.
