The Ministry expressed sincere welcome and gratitude for the prompt congratulations from the U.S. government.
“In his statement, Secretary of State Blinken congratulated President Lai and the people of Taiwan, expressing anticipation for cooperation with President Lai to advance the common interests and values of Taiwan and the U.S., as well as maintain peace and stability in the Taiwan Strait.
