On the evening of May 16, in the town of Luoyang, Yongquan Village, Kenrentun, Huanjiang County, Guangxi, a pickup truck carrying 15 people plunged into the river. Currently, one person is confirmed dead, and nine are missing.

At 9:08 p.m. on May 16, a pickup truck carrying 15 people fell into the river while passing through the Kenrentun Manshui Bridge in Huanjiang County. As of 4 a.m. on May 17, six people were rescued, with one confirmed dead and the other nine missing.

On the morning of May 17 at around 8 a.m., officials from Huanjiang County stated that the nine missing individuals have yet to be found. The officials also mentioned that there had been heavy rain in the past few days, with rain continuing on the evening of the 16th, causing the river to flood over the bridge. The driver encountered an accident while driving to drop people off that night.
