Net celebrity accused of 6 serious crimes for targeting theft through dating app.

A model and social media influencer in Los Angeles is facing charges for allegedly using a dating app to get close to victims and then burglarizing their homes. The 29-year-old, using the alias Mia Ventura, whose real name is Adva Lavie, was indicted on 6 felony charges by the prosecutor.

Lavie was ordered to appear in court on March 23 to face the charges. She is accused of 2 counts of unauthorized use of personal identification information, 2 counts of grand theft, and 2 counts of burglary (one of which involved a person being present). Lavie has pleaded not guilty to all charges.

Los Angeles County District Attorney Nathan J. Hochman stated on March 24 that this ruling means that the evidence in this case will be presented to a jury for trial.

“In court, we will present solid evidence to prove that the defendant used online relationships to build trust, illegally entered the victims’ residences, and committed theft,” he said. “Any actions that harm others through deceit and manipulation will be held criminally accountable.”

Lavie is scheduled for arraignment on April 6 at the Van Nuys Courthouse. Currently, she is not in custody but is wearing an electronic ankle monitor and has been ordered to stay away from the named victims.

According to the prosecution, between 2023 and 2025, Lavie used dating apps to establish relationships with wealthy older men and women residing in Westlake Village, West Hollywood, Los Angeles, and Beverly Hills, then entered their homes to commit theft.

The prosecution alleges that Lavie impersonated a girlfriend or travel companion, gained the victims’ trust, and then stole cash, gold, and expensive luxury goods from their residences.

If convicted on all charges, Lavie could face up to 11 years and 8 months in state prison.
