American Airlines plane’s two tires burst after landing at Chicago airport.

On Monday afternoon, August 17th, an American Airlines flight experienced two tire blowouts upon landing at Chicago O’Hare International Airport. The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) stated that American Airlines Flight 386 had encountered tire issues after a safe landing, with no injuries reported.

The flight had departed from LaGuardia Airport in New York and landed at Chicago O’Hare International Airport around 2 p.m. local time. Passengers disembarked using stairs on the tarmac and were then transported to the terminal by bus, according to FAA and American Airlines.

The Boeing 737-800 aircraft has been taken out of service for inspection by American Airlines. The FAA announced that an investigation into the incident would be conducted.

In a statement, American Airlines expressed that Flight 386 encountered tire problems after safely landing at Chicago O’Hare International Airport. As a precaution, emergency personnel were present during disembarkation, and passengers were safely shuttled to the terminal by bus. The aircraft has been grounded for inspection by the maintenance team. The airline appreciated the professionalism of its team members and extended apologies to the customers for the inconvenience.

Just a few days prior, a similar incident occurred at Chicago O’Hare International Airport. On August 13th, a United Airlines flight bound for Phoenix experienced tire blowouts during acceleration on the runway, prompting the pilot to abort takeoff. Like the recent event, there were no injuries reported in this incident as well.
