Teen Suspect Smashes Glass Door of Flushing Store in the Early Morning and Steals $20,000 Worth of Property

In the early hours of April 22nd, a group of unidentified teenagers carried out two robberies in Flushing. In one incident, the criminals broke the glass door of a store on Roosevelt Avenue and stole goods worth $20,000.

Around 4:40 AM that day, a group of individuals near the intersection of Roosevelt Ave. and Union St. robbed a 38-year-old man at knifepoint, taking his wallet containing $700 in cash. The perpetrators then fled westward on Roosevelt Avenue by foot. Fortunately, the victim was unharmed.

Just two minutes later, at approximately 4:42 AM, another group of unidentified individuals smashed the glass door of a business at 136-71 Roosevelt Avenue in Flushing using cement blocks. They made off with $20,000 worth of merchandise before fleeing on foot and entering the Main Street subway station.

Authorities released images of the suspects, described as dark-skinned teenagers.
