In the ranking of “2027 Best Universities” released by The Princeton Review on August 18, the University of San Diego was rated as the most beautiful university campus and the university with the best quality of life in the United States.
According to reports from City News, this ranking was based on a survey of 172,000 students from 392 schools across America, with each ranking category listing the top 25 schools.
The University of San Diego ranked first in both the “Most Beautiful Campus” and “Best Quality of Life” categories, as well as second in the “Happiest Students” and “Students Love These Universities” categories.
Furthermore, the University of San Diego also ranked in the top 25 in several other categories, including “Best Health Services,” “Best Campus Food,” “Best University Library,” “Best University Housing,” and “Best Career Services (i.e., employment counseling).”
Several other California universities also made it to the top 25 in the “Most Beautiful Campus” category, including Pepperdine University in Malibu (ranked 12th), Scripps College in Claremont (ranked 13th), Thomas Aquinas College in Santa Paula (ranked 15th), UC Santa Cruz (ranked 19th), and Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles (ranked 25th).
California schools that made it to the top 25 in the “Best Quality of Life” category include Claremont McKenna College in Claremont (ranked 5th) and Harvey Mudd College (ranked 20th), as well as Thomas Aquinas College (ranked 18th). Claremont McKenna College also ranked 4th in “Best Career Services.”
Rob Franek, the Editor-in-Chief of The Princeton Review, stated that the universities selected for these rankings belong to an “elite group,” accounting for approximately 14% of higher education institutions in the United States.
