In Guizhou Province, Guiyang City, a 29-year-old woman gave birth to twin boys earlier this year, and is now pregnant with triplets, admitting that she feels immense pressure in raising five children. Mengyang, a 29-year-old woman from Guiyang City, studied at Guizhou Normal University and worked as a teacher for two years after graduating. She resigned from her job to take care of her pregnancy when she had signs of a miscarriage during her twin pregnancy. Her children are now four and a half years old. She initially planned to have a “Little Dragon Girl” this year, which turned into a surprise triplet pregnancy.
Mengyang, standing at 1.55 meters tall and weighing only 45 kilograms before pregnancy, now weighs nearly 67 kilograms. Despite the weight gain, she mentioned that this pregnancy feels better compared to the previous one where she spent the first four months mostly bedridden due to constant fatigue. This time, she managed to be more active for three months but experienced severe morning sickness.
Upon learning about the triplets, the doctors warned Mengyang about the risks of uterine rupture due to her previous cesarean section and the current triplet pregnancy. They suggested reducing the number of fetuses, but she couldn’t bear to do so, especially after seeing the outlines of her children in the ultrasound.
