Lee Ming Shun Brothers to Obtain Taiwanese Motorcycle Licenses, Will Travel to Taiwan Together in June

New prominent actors from Singapore and Malaysia, the Lee brothers, Lee Ming Shun and Lee Ming Zhong, have been receiving numerous awards in the Taiwanese drama industry in recent years. They are joining forces for the first time to host the reality show “Uncle Knights on Motorbikes”, using motorcycles as their mode of transportation to explore all of Taiwan.

Prior to the start of the show, they held a media gathering on the 24th to share their excitement with fans and audiences about hitting the road. The program is set to begin shooting in June and is expected to air on the Public Television Service channel by the end of the year.

Both middle-aged uncles, with an average age of 50, went to the extent of getting their Taiwanese motorcycle licenses for the show. Lee Ming Shun, who hadn’t ridden a bike for over 20 years, admitted that it initially felt a bit awkward to ride again.

On the other hand, Lee Ming Zhong, who has been riding motorcycles all along, shared that he encountered unexpected questions during the exam. While waiting for the road test, he initially felt calm, but witnessing the failure of many well-prepared candidates shook his confidence. Fortunately, he managed to pass the test smoothly in the end.

Born in Malacca, Malaysia, Lee Ming Shun mentioned that since he moved to Singapore at 18, the brothers hadn’t had the opportunity to travel together. This show offers a chance for the audience to see the passionate side of the uncle knights.

Lee Ming Shun also praised his brother for recently being nominated for two awards at the Taipei Film Festival and jokingly said, “My brother is now suppressing me because he can’t challenge me in dramas, so he decided to do this show.”

Lee Ming Zhong expressed that in the past, they didn’t have many chances to travel together, but both brothers enjoy camping and outdoor activities. With a deep understanding of each other, even if they were to argue, it would likely end in laughter.

Lee Ming Zhong cheekily revealed that he used to be afraid of provoking his older brother, saying, “Because he is five years older than me, taller, and has much larger hands; but if someone else bullied me, he would stand up for me, making me feel like having an older brother is really great.”
