South Korean actress Son Ye-jin, who has been in the entertainment industry for 25 years, made her first visit to Taiwan. She arrived in Taiwan on the 16th to attend an event and immediately fell in love with the place. She expressed her desire to eat xiaolongbao (soup dumplings) in Taiwan and mentioned plans to bring her husband Hyun Bin and child back to Taiwan for a deeper exploration of the country.
Following her arrival in Taiwan, Son Ye-jin attended a promotional event at a hotel in Nangang. She started the event by sharing some daily life anecdotes and was charmingly humorous throughout, with the host, Ah Ken, provoking laughter from her multiple times.
Son Ye-jin, now also known as Son Ye-jin, seemed to be in high spirits during her first visit to Taiwan, clearly impressed by the country. She mentioned, “I was very excited on my first visit,” and added, “When I arrived and saw the streets, they reminded me of Korea, giving me a sense of closeness.”

Despite the praises she receives, she humbly describes herself as an ordinary person, admitting, “I often feel shy when complimented.” While she appears stunning in advertisements, she acknowledges the effort required to maintain a good physique as she ages.
Although Son Ye-jin’s focus is on her family, she expressed her desire to continue acting. She believes that after becoming a mother, she wants to portray roles that showcase intense maternal love and reflect her own experiences through acting.
Son Ye-jin also revealed her interest in visiting Jiufen during this trip to Taiwan, emphasizing her commitment to bringing her partner Hyun Bin (now also known as Hyun Bin) and their child for an in-depth exploration of Taiwan in the future, as she genuinely loves the country.
