On April 17th, local time, former football superstar David Beckham celebrated his wife Victoria Beckham’s 50th birthday by creating a rare life montage from her birth to the present to share this joy with fans.
Victoria Beckham, a British fashion designer, singer, and television personality, married football star David Beckham in 1999. 25 years later, Beckham edited a video to congratulate his wife on her 50th birthday. On Wednesday, Beckham shared on IG with fans a short film of Victoria’s birth, growing up process, her time with the Spice Girls, and their life together since getting married and having children.
Victoria, also known as Posh Spice during her time with the Spice Girls, was described by Beckham as someone who should look back on her past achievements and successful career as a fashion icon, businesswoman, and as the wife of the captain of the England team, with her greatest success being their children.
Beckham said, “You guide them, love them, teach them… their love for you cannot be expressed in words. We all love you. I wish you have a special day, you deserve all of this, at 50 years old and healthy, I mean it sincerely.”
After releasing the video, Beckham received blessings from hundreds of thousands of fans who called him the best husband and wished Victoria a happy birthday. The comments ranged from complimenting the beautiful memories captured in the film to expressing admiration for their love and family.
Victoria was born in 1974 in the UK, and she rose to fame after joining the Spice Girls in 1994. In 2000, she made her first appearance as a model in London and has since become a successful designer.
In addition to Beckham sharing a sweet video with fans, Victoria also posted a series of childhood photos on her 50th birthday, thanking her husband, children, and parents. Victoria said, “Family is everything… Without my handsome husband, amazing children, and parents, I wouldn’t be who I am today!”
