California Party Shooting Case: Police Still Offering Rewards for Suspects One Month Later

**California Stockton City Gunfire Case Still Unsolved – $100,000 Reward Offered**

In the past month, a large-scale shooting incident in Stockton, California has left authorities on the hunt for several masked gunmen (no photos released), with the reward now increased to $100,000.

The incident occurred on Thanksgiving weekend, November 29, 2025, at a party for 2-year-old children where several masked gunmen entered and opened fire in a crowd of about 100-150 people, resulting in 4 deaths and at least 13 injuries.

It has been 37 days since the incident, but the identity of the perpetrators and their motives remain a mystery. The police have yet to arrest any of the masked gunmen. The victims were identified as 8-year-old girl Maya Lupian, Journey Rose, 14, Amari Peterson, and 21-year-old Susano Archuleta.

Following the incident, Stockton Mayor Christina Fugazi stated that gang violence is prevalent everywhere, labeling the event as an act of terrorism. Sheriff Patrick Withrow of San Joaquin County refused to categorize it as gang-related, stating it is still too early to draw conclusions. On December 9, authorities announced the discovery of around 50 shell casings at the scene on Lucile Ave and in the vicinity of a building called “Monkey Space,” indicating the use of five different firearms. Withrow clarified that this does not necessarily mean there were five gunmen, and the ATF has taken over handling the shell casings.

“We are still investigating carefully to determine the direction of the shots and all other factors involved in this type of case,” Withrow said at a press conference, mentioning it will take several months as “we cannot find answers and begin making arrests in one or two weeks.” When asked if anyone at the party retaliated against the gunmen, Withrow stated it remains unconfirmed, as well as the exact number of masked gunmen involved in the shooting.

The initial emergency call went to Stockton Police Department before reaching the San Joaquin County Sheriff’s Office. The first responders arrived at the scene approximately 6-7 minutes later, and from video footage worn by officers, the scene was chaotic.

Rapper Luciano Guerrero, known as Nano, organized the birthday party for his 2-year-old daughter. He is affiliated with the Asian Boyz and Muddy Boyz gangs and loosely connected to the Sureños gang with ties to Mexican Mafia.

On December 1, Guerrero was arrested by probation officers for violating parole by associating with gangs (some known gang members were present at the party). His defense attorney Krueger requested his release, stating Guerrero was a victim of the shooting, but his request was denied. Guerrero’s parole revocation hearing is scheduled for January 8.

Deputy District Attorney Patricia Horner opposed Guerrero’s release, stating, “If Guerrero hadn’t organized this party, we wouldn’t be facing this unfortunate situation today, with so many children losing their lives.” In October 2024, Guerrero faced 13 charges, including possession of assault weapons and ammunition, involvement with street gang crimes, and shooting a woman related to him.

The uncle of the 2-year-old girl, 25-year-old Billy Williams, a member of the Flyboy gang, was also arrested on December 1. On probation, his conditions included staying 300 feet away from locations frequented by children without written permission, but he spent about 4 hours at the party venue. Williams had previously served a three-year sentence for child abuse, endangering a child, and causing bodily harm in 2021. In 2018, he was convicted of prostitution and pandering.

Three weeks after the incident, Filipino rapper Jhonel Dongon, known as MBNel, broke his silence on Instagram, expressing condolences and refraining from speculation out of respect for the families affected.

The father of the 14-year-old victim stated that his son had expressed a desire to meet Dongon before the shooting occurred. Dongon had been arrested in a police operation targeting street gangs in October 2020 and was part of the Muddy Boyz gang. About two years prior, he had relocated from Stockton City.

On the evening of December 28, another shooting incident occurred near a Mexican food truck in Stockton, resulting in the death of a 17-year-old minor and injuries to three individuals. Residents reported a group filming a music video clashed with another group, leading to at least twenty gunshots. Earlier on December 14, a shooting at a hotel in the city caused the death of a 24-year-old man and injuries to a 28-year-old woman. Two suspects, aged 48 and 47, were arrested on December 18, charged with murder.
