Travel companion Zhang Boqian talks about his views on love, dubbed “Words of Warning” by Lin Yuxi.

The travel reality show “Actors’ Journey” airs every Saturday at 8 p.m. local time in Taiwan. The latest episode is hosted by Yao Chunyao, along with his partner Lin Yuxi. They are joined by a new travel companion, Zhang Baiqian, as they head to Ipoh, Malaysia, to tackle various travel challenges.

Ipoh is known for its rich Hakka culture, making Zhang Baiqian, who is fluent in Mandarin, Hakka, and English and calls himself the “Hakka Brother,” a valuable travel assistant.

Known for his role as a tea farmer in the Taiwanese drama “Tea Gold,” Zhang Baiqian is recording a travel reality show for the first time. Just as the journey begins, Zhang Baiqian spots a spicy dish in the distance, prompting Lin Yuxi to jest, “I thought you were saying I look hot from afar.”

Quick on his feet, Zhang Baiqian immediately gets into character and declares that it’s Lin Yuxi who is spicy, amusing her and earning praise, “Great acting! I love it!”

The trio of Zhang Baiqian, Lin Yuxi, and Yao Chunyao embark on a travel challenge titled “Visit the places your ex visited.” Zhang Baiqian asks Lin Yuxi, “Would you search for answers from past relationships?” Without hesitation, Lin Yuxi laughs and responds, “Definitely not my issue!”

Lin Yuxi adds, “I don’t dwell on the past, because constantly thinking about it might make it harder to encounter new relationships and chapters. But after a breakup, I do revisit the places I went with my ex to create new memories.”

Yao Chunyao admires this approach, saying, “I would try to forget, as revisiting past places could reopen old wounds.” The trio engages in a lively discussion about their views on relationships.

During the journey, Zhang Baiqian shares, “‘Dislike’ is not hate, but indifference. It’s like the attitude during an argument with a partner, which determines the depth of their love for you. When they no longer want to argue, it signifies indifference.”

Lin Yuxi reflects on Zhang Baiqian’s words, saying, “That’s a wake-up call! With this perspective, the next argument won’t be as bothersome but instead an expression of love.”

At this moment, Yao Chunyao playfully remarks, “This might lead to misunderstandings!” The trio’s first collaboration sparks new dynamics and adds humor to the show, making it even more entertaining.
