Trump’s UN speech: Climate change is the biggest hoax in history

On Tuesday (September 23), President Trump delivered a speech at the United Nations General Assembly. He expressed that climate change is the “biggest hoax in history.” He criticized green energy policies for shifting manufacturing from rule-following developed countries to rule-breaking polluting countries, allowing them to profit at the expense of others. He condemned the amount of carbon dioxide emissions from China surpassing that of all developed countries combined.

Trump stated that regardless of temperature rising or falling, everything is attributed to climate change. “To me, this is the biggest scam in the history of the world.”

“All these predictions made by the United Nations and many other institutions, often for nefarious reasons, are all wrong,” he said. “These predictions are made by stupid people, which not only cost the country wealth but also cause these countries to lose opportunities for success.”

The President criticized the consequences of green energy policies. “The primary effect of these cruel green energy policies is not to improve the environment, but to relocate manufacturing and industrial activities from developed countries abiding by these insane rules to polluting countries violating the rules and profiting from it. They are making a fortune.”

“Carbon footprint is a scam fabricated by those with ulterior motives, leading us down a path of complete destruction,” he said.

“Europe has paid a high cost and reduced its carbon footprint by 37%,” Trump said. “But you sacrificed many job opportunities and closed many factories. You indeed reduced your carbon footprint by 37%. However, despite making so much sacrifice, even more, all these efforts have been completely erased by a 54% increase in global carbon emissions.”

Trump pointed the blame towards China under Communist rule for pollution. “China emits more carbon dioxide than all developed countries combined, and all these developed countries are striving to reduce their carbon footprints,” he said.

Trump later mentioned that the U.S. has had the cleanest air for years. According to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, air pollutants in the U.S. have decreased by 50% due to the enactment of the Clean Air Act, which imposed stricter environmental regulations on vehicles and industries.

He also accused China of sending polluted air to the U.S., disrupting this situation. The National Academy of Sciences released a report stating that due to the influence of the “westerlies,” particles and chemicals floating above China can cross the Pacific and pollute the air on the U.S. West Coast.

On Tuesday, Trump also stated that the efforts of developed countries to reduce their carbon footprint are nonsense.

“In the U.S., we still have some radical environmentalists who want factories to shut down. Everything should stop. Stop raising cows. We don’t want cows anywhere. I guess they want to kill all the cows. What they want to do is simply unbelievable,” he said.
