The Taiwan Mandarin Learning Center (TCML) at Tianle Language School has teamed up with the Silicon Valley renowned tech company American Portwell Technology, Inc. for the first time to open the TCML Technology Mandarin Class on September 11, attracting engineers from different ethnic departments of the company.
Chuang Yashu, director of the Golden Mountain Bay Area Overseas Chinese Education Center, stated that this collaboration represents the extension of TCML in Northern California from a successful partnership with Google to the industrial computer giant Portwell in Silicon Valley. Through corporate collaborative courses, it aims to establish the brand image of “Learning Mandarin at TCML” and enhance Taiwan-US cultural exchange.
Lee Yu-lin, President of American Portwell Technology, Inc., emphasized the company’s focus on cross-cultural exchange and globalization. Learning Mandarin not only helps employees expand cooperation with the Asia-Pacific market but also enhances understanding and connections among international teams.
The collaborative course was planned by Chairman Ye Yunhe of TCML Tianle Language School and led by a team of teachers. The content covers daily conversations, business communication, and cultural experiences, enabling students to improve their Chinese communication skills in a short period and gain in-depth insights into Taiwan and Chinese culture. The course format is diverse, including interactive teaching, group discussions, and cultural activities, garnering high expectations from participants.

With the official launch of the course, it aims to establish a closer relationship between Northern California TCML and tech companies, enhance the premium Taiwan Mandarin TCML brand, and promote a better understanding of Taiwan’s culture within mainstream communities.
