On September 12th, the 11th NTD “World Chinese Classical Dance Competition” entered the second day of the preliminary competition for the youth women’s group with over twenty participants showcasing their skills. The day before, on September 11th, another group of over twenty participants competed in the first day of the preliminary rounds.
On the stage, the dancers demonstrated their skills, interpreting China’s 5,000 years of traditional culture through Chinese classical dance. Offstage, they observed and encouraged each other. Many participants expressed that the purpose of this competition is not to compete for rankings, but to showcase the beauty of Chinese classical dance and promote traditional Chinese culture.
