The Taiwan Central Weather Bureau announced this afternoon at 5 p.m. that the center of Typhoon Santao is located approximately 110 kilometers southwest of Kaohsiung, moving at a speed of 8 kilometers per hour in a northeast to north-northeast direction. Residents are advised to be alert and take precautions against the typhoon.
