Criminal with Gun Robs Residence in Queens, Man Shot in the Head

On August 7th, a shooting incident occurred in Queens, New York, where four suspects shot a man in the head during a home invasion robbery. The New York City Police Department is currently pursuing these suspects.

According to information released by the New York City Police Department’s DCPI office, the incident took place within the jurisdiction of the 104th Precinct in Queens. At around 11:45 a.m. on August 7th (Wednesday), four armed robbers of unidentified identities invaded a residence located at 77-10 65th Street in Queens. The robbers worked together to steal multiple items before shooting a 24-year-old male victim in the head.

After taking valuables, the suspects quickly fled the scene in a black minivan with dark tinted windows, driving south along Cypress Hill Street. The victim was rushed to Jamaica Hospital for treatment and is currently in stable condition.

The suspects, all males, are described by the police as follows:

– Suspect 1: Burly build, approximately 5 feet 11 inches tall, weighing around 220 pounds. Wore a black face mask, black jacket, black sweatpants, and black sneakers during the crime.

– Suspect 2: Slender build, around 6 feet tall, wore a black face mask and a black hoodie with a yellow and black Michael Jordan logo.

– Suspect 3: Burly build, wearing a black hoodie, gray shorts, and black sneakers.

– Suspect 4: Burly build, wore a black hoodie with a pink floral pattern on the back, black sweatpants, and black and white sneakers.

No suspects have been arrested yet, and the police are actively investigating the case. According to NYPD data, there have been 125 robbery cases in Queens so far this year compared to 129 cases during the same period last year. As of August 4th, citywide robbery cases have decreased by 3.4% compared to the same period last year.

Authorities suspect that this home invasion robbery may have been a targeted crime, but the specific motive remains unclear.
