Five Professors from Peking University Die from Illness in Quick Succession, All Communist Party Members

For over four years, the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) has been covering up the pandemic. The Epoch Times has collected and compiled data on the deaths of prominent figures in various fields such as CCP officials, government, military, police, scientific research, education, and arts. Most of them were CCP members who served the CCP’s existence, promoted its ideology, and whitewashed its evil rule. Their deaths were often officially labeled as “ineffective medical treatment for illness,” without specifying the exact disease. Many of them were elites in their respective fields, but unfortunately, their talent, efforts, and contributions were misdirected. Since the CCP came into power, it has caused the deaths of 80 million people due to unnatural causes, and it continues to persecute the good people of China, accumulating a debt of blood. The law of retribution exists, and the pandemic is targeting the Communist Party, signaling the imminent collapse of the CCP regime where all those who supported the CCP will become sacrificial offerings. A wise person should not stand under the dangerous wall; the way to self-rescue is to quickly disengage from the CCP, its organizations, and its affiliates.

Between July 8 and 29 in 2024, at least five well-known professors at Peking University in Beijing succumbed to illness, all of them CCP members. Among them were philosophy professor Feng Guorui, known for his research on Mao Zedong’s philosophical thoughts, structural geologist Zheng Yadong, and pharmacology professor Li Weidong, aged only 66.

Zheng Yadong, a CCP member, structural geologist, and professor at the School of Earth and Space Sciences at Peking University, passed away in New York on July 29 due to illness. Zheng was a doctoral supervisor specially appointed by the State Council of the CCP and received special subsidies from the State Council. In 2005, Zheng Yadong received the highest award in Chinese geology, the Li Siguang Geological Science Award.

Li Weidong, a CCP member and professor of pharmacology at the School of Basic Medical Sciences at Peking University, died on July 29 due to illness at the age of 66. Li Weidong had served as the party branch secretary of the Pharmacology Department at the School of Basic Medical Sciences at Peking University.

Le Daiyun, a CCP member and professor of the Chinese Language and Literature Department at Peking University, passed away in Beijing on July 27 due to illness. The official obituary described her as a major figure in the field of comparative literature in the new era of China. Le Daiyun founded the Beijing University Comparative Literature Research Association and the Beijing University Comparative Literature Research Center in 1981. She also established the Beijing University Institute of Comparative Literature in 1985 and served as its first director, as well as holding positions such as vice president of the International Comparative Literature Association and president of the Chinese Comparative Literature Association.

Zhao Wanjing, a CCP member and professor of the English Department at the School of Foreign Languages at Peking University, passed away in Beijing on July 13 due to illness. Zhao Wanjing had served as a member of the party branch committee, the party general branch committee, and the deputy director of the English Teaching and Research Office at the Department of Western Languages at Peking University. From February 1985 to August 1988, Zhao was seconded to the Chinese Embassy in former Yugoslavia as a confidential agent.

Feng Guorui, a CCP member and professor of the Philosophy Department at Peking University, passed away in Beijing on July 8 due to illness. Feng Guorui had long been engaged in teaching and researching modern science and Marxist philosophy, as well as Mao Zedong’s philosophical thoughts. He authored books such as “Mao Zedong on Thought Methodology,” “Introduction to Mao Zedong’s Philosophical Thoughts,” and “General System, Information Theory, Control Theory, and Marxist Epistemology.”

A previous inventory by The Epoch Times showed that in the first three months of 2024, at least eight professors and five party and government officials at Peking University consecutively passed away, with at least ten of them being CCP members. The deceased included Li Liang, a 62-year-old expert in cognitive psychology, Li Shengjun, a professor at the School of Foreign Languages at Peking University and former dean of the Confucius Institute at Cairo University, and Wang Chimin, the former executive vice president of the Beijing Medical University Party School.

In approximately one month from April to early May 2024, at least eight professors and three party and government officials at Peking University passed away, with at least seven of them being CCP members. The deceased included prominent strategic scientist in the field of spatial science, Xiao Zuo, Wu He Miao who gave up a lifetime professorship in the United States to work at Peking University, Zeng Manchao, holder of the Changjiang Scholar Chair at the Peking University School of Education Economics, and Liu Bo, former deputy secretary of the Beijing Medical University Party Committee.

At the end of 2022, a new round of the COVID-19 (CCP virus) pandemic broke out in mainland China, leading to a high number of deaths among professors at prominent CCP-backed universities such as Peking and Tsinghua universities. Statistics showed that between October 31 and December 5, 2022, 15 retired professors at Peking University passed away.

On December 22, 2022, screenshots posted on Weibo by Chinese netizens showed that Peking University issued three successive obituaries on the same day. The post stated that as of December 22, 2022, a total of 101 teachers at Peking University had passed away that year.

According to incomplete statistics, at least 72 professors at Peking University died in 2023, with at least 44 of them being CCP members (61.1%). The deceased included Li Yining, the mentor of Li Keqiang, an economist, Zhai Zhonghe, an academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and biologist, Zhou Erlui, the nephew of Zhou Enlai and former vice president of Peking University, as well as Zheng Tao, the former deputy secretary of the Party Committee of the Peking University School of Physics, who passed away at the young age of 53.

According to the CCP, Peking University was the initial base for spreading Marxism in China; some of the earliest Chinese communists and Marxists came from Peking University.

During the first CCP Congress, there were 53 CCP members nationwide, with 21 of them having worked or studied at Peking University, accounting for nearly half of all CCP members in the country. Among the 13 officials attending the first CCP Congress, six had studied or worked at Peking University: Mao Zedong, Zhang Guotao, Liu Renjing, Chen Gongbo, Wang Jinmei, and Bao Huiseng.

In 2005, The Epoch Times published “The Epoch Times’ Solemn Declaration” on the Quitting the CCP website, stating that the communist party’s doomsday is approaching. However, this evil party (cult) has committed heinous crimes against sentient beings and gods in history, and the divine will surely hold this demon accountable. If one day, the divine instructs someone to settle the score with the CCP, they will not spare those so-called staunch evil party members.

Under the long-term brainwashing of atheism by the CCP, many Chinese people do not believe in the principle of retributive justice. However, for members of the CCP and those who ideologically support the CCP, the divine will take away their lives in various ways, including through diseases and pandemics.

Since the new outbreak of the CCP virus (COVID-19) in China in late 2022, CCP members, officials, as well as experts, scholars, and celebrities who support the CCP have died in large numbers. Multiple evidences suggest that the epidemic is still prevalent in China, causing significant casualties. However, the CCP authorities prohibit further nucleic acid testing and forbid any mention of epidemic control measures.

As early as March 2020, in the article “Rationality,” Master Li Hongzhi warned, “The current ‘CCP virus’ (Wuhan pneumonia) pandemic is purposeful and targeted. It is here to eliminate party members of the evil party and those who stand with the evil CCP.”

Master Li Hongzhi pointed out, “Stay away from the evil CCP, do not stand with the evil CCP, because behind it is a red devil, with rogue behavior and a track record of all sorts of evil deeds. God is going to start eradicating it, and those who stand by it will be eliminated.”

Master Li Hongzhi also elucidated how people can seek good fortune and avoid calamity during this pandemic, saying, “People should sincerely repent to God, acknowledge their faults, and hope to be given the opportunity to reform. This is the solution, this is the miraculous cure.”
