During the grand military parade held by the Chinese Communist Party on September 3 in Beijing, CCP leader Xi Jinping, Russian President Putin, and North Korean leader Kim Jong-un were seen walking together towards Tiananmen Square to observe the ceremony. The live broadcast captured a conversation between Xi Jinping and Putin regarding organ transplants for prolonging life. As the scene unfolded, a microphone picked up the discussion where Putin’s interpreter mentioned in Chinese, “Biotechnology is constantly advancing. Human organs will continue to be transplanted, possibly making people not only live longer but also rejuvenate and potentially achieve immortality.” Xi Jinping responded in Chinese, “Some predict that in this century, people could live up to 150 years.”
Taiwanese legislator Wang Ting-yu took to Facebook on September 4 to criticize the conversation, stating, “Throughout history, many dictators have sought immortality because wielding absolute power is too alluring for them to let go. Could it be that they have committed so many atrocities during their lifetime that they fear retribution after death, hence they dare not pass on?”
Wang Ting-yu pointed out that the gathering of these evil leaders at the CCP event further illustrates that in such nations, whoever holds power also controls the organs of the people. Regardless of the reasons, he emphasized that “dictators who have sought eternal life throughout history have never met a good end!”
Another Taiwanese legislator, Hsu Chih-chieh, strongly condemned the CCP’s practice of forced organ harvesting in a Facebook post. He mentioned the recent screening of the movie “The Organ Owned by the State” in Taiwan, which starkly reveals the truth behind the CCP’s illicit organ harvesting. Hsu expressed his anger and sorrow at the callous remarks made by Xi Jinping and Putin regarding “organ transplants,” describing them as inhumane and heartless.
Hsu Chih-chieh highlighted that the Taiwan Legislative Yuan has proposed and completed the first reading of legislation to combat forced organ harvesting. He urged bipartisan legislators to unite and pass the bill through its third reading, standing together on the side of human rights to combat such heinous crimes that obliterate human dignity and trample upon the sanctity of life.
