Taiwanese internet celebrity arrested multiple times recently for dine and dash in New York.

A Chinese girl living in the upscale neighborhood of Williamsburg in Brooklyn, self-proclaimed as an internet celebrity, has been breaking records of being repeatedly arrested in the past few weeks for dining in many high-end restaurants without paying.

According to an email sent by the police to this newspaper, the 34-year-old Chinese girl named Pei Chung, also known as Pei Yun when arrested, has been frequently dining at restaurants near Williamsburg. For instance, on November 11th, she ate $135 worth of food at Motorino Pizza located at 139 Broadway Street and later refused to pay the bill, resulting in the restaurant calling the police on her.

Based on Pei’s social media account on Instagram, she hails from Taiwan and is currently single, residing in a luxury apartment on Kent Avenue for the past 4 years.

“My background: a professional designer with dual master’s degrees in Information Science and Fine Arts. I’ve earned over 50 honors; started learning violin at 3 years old, classical piano and Royal Ballet at 5-10 years old; attended an art elite class from 10-14 years old,” Pei wrote on her Instagram, “I scored the highest in the Taiwan Joint College Entrance Exam at 15 years old; mastered advanced mathematics in just 8 months at 16 years old.”

Pei also mentioned on her LinkedIn account that she is a “semi-retired senior designer and consultant, with clients including financial companies like J.P. Morgan.”

In addition to sharing her provocative photos on social media, Pei also posts pictures of her dining at various restaurants without paying, along with her reviews of the food.

From the images she posted, Pei can be seen flaunting designer clothes and shoes, carrying a LV bag and an Hermes belt, giving the impression that she is wealthy.

According to the police department, on November 7th and October 22nd, Pei dined at the Francie restaurant located at 136 Broadway for $83.88 and $188 respectively; on November 6th, she spent $97 at Lavender Lake restaurant on 53 Broadway Street; on October 27th, she consumed $146 at Peter Luger Steakhouse; on November 14th, she ordered $100 worth of food at Misi restaurant near her home; and spent $123 at Sea Thai restaurant on North 6th Street… each time dine-and-dashing, refusing to pay.
