September 3rd, Mainland Chinese actor Huang Bo revealed in a video on social media that he recently fell off his bicycle in front of his house, resulting in a fractured collarbone and being hospitalized for treatment.
In the video, Huang Bo is seen lying on a hospital bed with an oxygen mask on, and the diagnosis sheet attached to the head of the bed indicates a “fractured collarbone.” Despite the accident, Huang Bo humorously self-deprecates, saying this time he really “fell into a pit.”
He explained in the video that he initially was just riding a bicycle when unexpectedly, a turn led him straight into the hospital, a situation that was “exactly like what happens in movies.”
During his hospital stay, he maintained his usual humor by self-mockingly saying, “It’s not about not eating vegetables, the vegetables are just out of reach,” and even sang “How Painful the Realization Is” in the hospital corridor, amusing netizens.
Towards the end of the video, he reminded netizens, “When riding a bike, you really can’t be distracted, even if it’s just in front of your house, or you’ll end up in trouble.”
After the hospital video came out, netizens traced back the timeline and found that Huang Bo was injured in mid-August or even earlier.
On August 22nd, Na Ying held a personal concert in Beijing, and that night Huang Bo appeared as a guest with his left arm wearing a brace. At the time, Na Ying revealed on stage that he had fallen off his bicycle and had been quietly recovering since then.
