On Sunday (November 24), Donald Trump interacted happily with a young fan sporting a fashionable hairstyle at his golf club. The President-elect expressed willingness to bid “several million” to purchase her stylish hair, and the video of this encounter quickly went viral online.
In the video, Trump is seen driving a golf cart at his club in West Palm Beach. He is wearing his iconic MAGA (Make America Great Again) cap and a red quarter-zip sweater.
As he greets other golfers, he remarks, “Oh, I like that girl, I like her hair, I want her hair.”
It turns out he had spotted a young fan with a stylish hairstyle – an African-American girl who appeared to be less than ten years old.
“Can I buy your hair?” Trump parked the cart in front of the child and said, “I will pay you several million.”
At that moment, a woman asked the child, “What do you want to tell the President?”
“I voted for you,” the child responded.
“And I voted for you too,” the 78-year-old Trump replied.
Subsequently, Trump invited the child to take a photo with him in the cart, and cheers erupted from the crowd.
“Awesome,” someone commented, “You can say you played golf with the President.”
According to the New York Post, Trump also played golf with his granddaughter Kai. She stated her goal to break his “club champion” record.
The report mentioned that the Secret Service has intensified security measures for Trump following two assassination attempts. Interestingly, the golf course where Trump interacted with the young fan on Sunday was the location of his second failed assassination attempt in September, with the first being on July 13 at a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania.
Netizens praised the interaction, highlighting Trump’s “human side” on display.
“This shows Trump’s personable and kind nature,” another commenter remarked.
President-elect Trump has always taken pride in his iconic blond hair, claiming it to be natural.
In 2015, during his first presidential campaign, the then-Republican frontrunner allowed an audience member to touch his hair at an event in South Carolina to prove he was not wearing a wig.
