Recently, a major explosion occurred at a liquefied gas station in Jining, Shandong Province, sending a massive fireball and thick smoke into the sky, resembling a war zone. The authorities have not yet officially reported on this incident. The next day, a half-block area affected by the explosion was cordoned off with tarpaulins.

Multiple videos circulating on mainland Chinese social media depict the scene of the accident at the South Gate of Jining, Shandong. Local netizens reported that an explosion happened at a liquefied gas store on the night of the 4th, causing a chain reaction that affected multiple surrounding shops, leading to a series of explosions.

The videos show the extensive area engulfed by the fire, with frequent loud blasts, huge fireballs, and thick smoke rising into the sky, coloring the night sky red.

According to reports from Shenzhou Rong Media Network, on the night of March 4th, a sudden fire broke out at a store at the South Gate of Rencheng District, Jining City, Shandong. The fire burned fiercely on the scene, causing explosions during the combustion.

On March 5th, local authorities used a large amount of tarpaulins to seal off shops that were destroyed by the explosion or engulfed in flames, covering half of a street with the affected area exceeding one hundred meters.

Local authorities have not released any official statement regarding the explosion.
