Photo gallery: Cute photos captured by a three-year-old in swaddling clothes steal the hearts of many.

Recently, in Missouri, USA, a photographer captured a series of beautiful photos of her 3-year-old son wrapped snugly in a swaddle. To her surprise, these adorable photos quickly went viral on the internet, capturing the hearts of countless netizens.

Holly J. Greenup, 33, a professional photographer, resides in Columbia, Missouri with her husband and two sons, Leo, 6, and Vincent (nicknamed Vince), 3. Describing Vince as innocent and adventurous, Greenup shared that he loves pretending to be a little baby snuggled in her arms.

Greenup’s home doubles as her photography studio. After every newborn photoshoot, there is a lot of cleaning up to do. Props, baskets, flowers, blankets, and swaddles all need to be organized and washed.

After helping his mom clean up one day, Vince spontaneously lay down in a beanbag sofa, striking cute baby poses. Inspired by his antics, Greenup had a brilliant idea.

She said, “I asked him if he would let me swaddle him, and he said yes.”

Although skeptical about whether her 3-year-old could stay still for long periods, Greenup decided to give it a try. Using a large curtain as a swaddle, she instructed Vince to stay still for a minute so she could take photos. Surprisingly, he laid there motionless, seeming to enjoy the moment.

With a smile in several photos, Vince closed his eyes mimicking a sleeping newborn in the last shot. Throughout the shoot, he displayed immense joy, making sure not to move while his mom captured the moments.

“After taking four photos, he wriggled out of the swaddle,” Greenup said.

Afterward, the photographer shared these photos on Facebook, and to her delight, they quickly went viral online. People commented on how cute Vince was, with many expressing joy upon seeing the pictures.

Greenup majored in fine arts in college, where she first delved into photography and quickly developed a strong interest in the art form.

In 2012, she began pursuing photography as a side job due to the growing requests from family and friends. By 2019, her business flourished, leading her to transition to full-time photography, focusing on newborns and family photoshoots.

“As a mother of young children, I excel at interacting with lively toddlers. I understand that sometimes children are reluctant to pose or cooperate during photoshoots. But I’ve learned techniques to engage them and make them smile for the camera,” Greenup shared.

When asked what message she hoped to convey through her photos, Greenup said something heartwarming, “Throughout different stages of a child’s life, play with them, hug them, encourage their creativity, and urge them to bravely try new things.”
