Mainland Travel Giant “Platinum Duke” Hit Again on Credit Breach List, All Stores Closed

Former mainland bridal travel brand “Platinum Travel” has fallen into operational difficulties and has recently been listed as a dishonest person subject to enforcement once again. The company has accumulated enforcement amounts exceeding 219 million yuan in the past year, with all offline stores closed, and issues concerning refunds to consumers and unpaid salaries for employees in multiple locations remain unresolved.

According to a report by “Red Star News” on June 22, Platinum Travel Cultural Group Co., Ltd. was recently listed as a dishonest person subject to enforcement due to a dispute over a housing lease contract. The applicant in the case is Zhejiang Maoge Liquor Co., Ltd., with the amount involved being 630,900 yuan.

The report states that Platinum Travel was listed as dishonest for refusing to fulfill repayment obligations and violating the property reporting system. The legal representative and actual controller of the company, Xu Chunsheng, has also been restricted from engaging in high consumption.

Data from the business inquiry platform “Tianyancha” shows that as of June 22, 2026, Platinum Travel has been listed as a person subject to enforcement for 31 consecutive times, involving cases such as financial loan contract disputes, enterprise debt-to-equity contract disputes, labor disputes, and more. In the past year, the company has accumulated an enforcement amount of 219 million yuan, with 22 unresolved enforcement cases totaling 164 million yuan, and the highest single enforcement target being 78 million yuan.

According to a report by “Jiemian News” on June 23, Tianyancha shows that there are nearly 2000 items of risk information related to Platinum Travel, involving 787 judicial cases, 561 litigation relationships, 300 court notices, and 169 registration information.

The operational difficulties of Platinum Travel have now spread to both offline stores and online channels. The consultation hotline on Platinum Travel’s official website is currently unreachable. Personnel answering the reserved phone number at the Platinum Travel store in Shangri-La on Baidu Map told mainland media that all national stores of Platinum Travel have been closed and will not reopen in the future.

“Red Star News” investigation found that the bridal photography subsidiaries of Platinum Travel in Guangzhou, Suzhou, Xishuangbanna, and other places have all been deregistered; the official flagship store on JD.com no longer has any products for sale, and the Xiaohongshu account has not been updated since July 19, 2025, and the official flagship store cannot be found on Taobao either.

The issue of consumer refunds remains unresolved. A consumer named Xiao Yi from Shenzhen stated that she paid a full amount of 11,298 yuan for a Platinum Travel package at the Shenzhen Wedding Expo in March 2024. When the scheduled shooting time arrived, the other party claimed they could not shoot and refused to refund.

The report mentions that there are still multiple rights protection posts related to Platinum Travel on platforms such as Xiaohongshu, Weibo, and Heimao Complaints, with some consumers reflecting that there was no service after payment and no one handling refunds.

The operational problems of Platinum Travel have also affected its employees. A former employee, Xiao Liu, stated that he resigned from the Platinum Travel Xiamen headquarters in July 2025 from a development testing position, and the headquarters only paid his salary up to March 2025. Including him, 256 employees from various parts of the country collectively applied for labor arbitration. The mediation agreement shows that Xiao Liu should receive a payment of 23,240.08 yuan, but as of the final payment date on January 31, 2026, the company has not paid it.

Public records show that Platinum Travel was established in December 2014 and expanded its business in bridal travel photography. The advertising slogan “Go wherever you want to take photos” once appeared in variety shows, elevator advertisements, and live streaming sales scenes. The brand once claimed to cover destinations in over a hundred countries and regions worldwide and targeted the middle to high-end bridal travel photography market.

The operational issues of Platinum Travel are not the first time. In August 2025, the brand was exposed for the issues of customer service being unreachable, services not delivered, difficulty in refunding deposits, and salary arrears. A notice issued by the company in July of the same year stated that the bridal travel business would take a “slow season break” from July 11 to October 31, and the resumption of business would be notified separately. The notice also mentioned that the company has been operating at a loss since 2020.

In recent years, the number of marriage registrations in the mainland has continued to decline, leading to consumers shrinking their budgets for weddings and bridal photography, an increase in low-priced travel photography packages, and squeezing the middle to high-end bridal travel photography market. Platinum Travel relied on advance payments and second-time consumption in the past, and heavily invested in popular travel photography destinations; after a decrease in orders, the pressure on operating costs further intensified.
