Trump to Appoint Daughter’s Father-in-Law as Senior Presidential Advisor

On Sunday, US President-elect Donald Trump announced that he will appoint his daughter Tiffany’s father-in-law, Massad Boulos, as a senior advisor on Arab and Middle Eastern Affairs. Trump posted on his social media platform, Truth Social, stating that Boulos is an outstanding lawyer and respected leader in the business world, with ample international experience.

“He has long been a supporter of Republican and conservative values, bringing invaluable assets to my campaign and playing a significant role in forging new alliances within the Arab-American community,” Trump said. “Boulos is a skilled negotiator and a steadfast advocate for peace in the Middle East. He will be a strong advocate for America and its interests, and I am thrilled to have him join our team!”

Boulos, born in Lebanon, runs Boulos Enterprises based in Nigeria, which manufactures and sells machinery and motorcycles. He is also the CEO of SCOA Nigeria, managing a variety of businesses including public transportation and construction equipment. Boulos is estimated to have assets worth billions of dollars.

His son, Michael Boulos, married Tiffany Trump in 2022, with President-elect Trump accompanying his daughter down the aisle.

Boulos played a crucial role in Michigan, a swing state, rallying Arab-American voters for Trump and contributing significantly to securing victory in the state.

Boulos is the latest family member of Trump to be nominated for a position within the government. On Saturday, Trump announced that he would nominate Charles Kushner, Ivanka Trump’s father-in-law, as the ambassador to France.
