AccuWeather predicts that the heatwave will last only one day, with cooler weather returning on Thursday, August 29, when the high is expected to be 76 degrees. On August 30, the high will be 77 degrees. As the Labor Day long weekend begins on August 31, the weather becomes unstable with thunderstorms in the afternoon and a high of 79 degrees. September 1 will see lower humidity with a high of 83 degrees, and on Labor Day, September 2, expect partly cloudy skies with a high of 80 degrees.
