The Mayor of Diamond Bar, Peter Deng, along with members of the Diamond Bar Chinese American Association (DBCAA), visited the local police station and three fire departments on Tuesday morning (December 2) to express gratitude to the frontline personnel for their hard work in ensuring public safety and assisting the community.
Early that day, Peter Deng, along with DBCAA President Katie Guo and others, visited the Walnut Valley Police Department and three fire stations in the area to show appreciation as the year comes to a close. They brought carefully prepared breakfast and expressed sincere thanks to the police and firefighters who have been steadfast in their duty.
Diamond Bar is a predominantly Asian-populated area in eastern Los Angeles County. The local Chinese community places importance on fostering a friendly atmosphere, aiming for a safe, clean, and friendly neighborhood. They also value interaction with law enforcement and fire departments, hoping to boost the morale of these personnel in various ways and make sure residents have a peaceful Christmas season.
