On August 15, 2026, the ninth NTD World Chinese Traditional Wushu Competition was held in Manhattan, New York. The motto of the competition was “Cultivate the body with martial arts and nurture the heart with virtue.” After intense competition, a total of 39 participants were awarded silver, bronze, outstanding, special contribution, inheritance contribution, and honor awards. This edition of the competition came to a successful conclusion.
The competition field showcased a rich variety of traditional boxing and martial arts weapons, each with its own unique characteristics. Styles such as Overturning Fist, Lotus Fist, Five-Hand Fist, Four-Gate Sword, and Whip Staff took turns to demonstrate.
