In Memory of Fallen Heroes: Grand Parade Held in Washington D.C.

On Monday, May 26th, a grand Memorial Day parade was held on Constitution Avenue in the capital of the United States, Washington D.C. The U.S. Army, Navy, and Marine Corps all sent teams to participate in the parade, with thousands of people from across the country flocking to Constitution Avenue to join the event.

Memorial Day, observed on the last Monday of May each year, is a federal holiday in the United States. Events such as parades and patriotic concerts are held nationwide to commemorate American military personnel who have sacrificed their lives in service, paying tribute to them.

One of the significant events was the parade organized by the non-profit organization, the American Veterans Center, on Constitution Avenue in Washington D.C. This year, the event was attended by various U.S. military officials including the newly appointed Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, John D. Caine, as well as foreign diplomats stationed in the U.S.

The 20th annual National Memorial Day Parade this year lasted approximately two hours, featuring multiple American parade contingents and flag bearers representing the Allied Powers of World War II, creating a magnificent and moving scene.
