He Jinli Returns to the Battlefield of Pennsylvania, Trump Continues to Woo Latino Voters

On Wednesday, Democratic presidential candidate Kamala Harris once again visited the key state of Pennsylvania to campaign. This time, she will be forming an alliance with several Republicans who support her over their own party’s candidate, Donald Trump. Meanwhile, Trump continues to hold events on the nation’s largest Spanish-language television network, focusing on gaining support from Hispanic voters.

As the election enters its final three weeks, Harris is launching her campaign in Bucks County, Pennsylvania. Located in the suburbs of Philadelphia, this area holds a significant number of votes, with Democrats having won by a narrow margin in the last presidential election.

Expected to be accompanied by former U.S. Congressman Adam Kinzinger and other Republican officials who have rejected Trump, seeing him as a threat to American democracy for his refusal to abide by election norms and his support for what they call “rioters” who tried to stop the certification of Joe Biden’s victory in the 2020 election.

Harris is expected to discuss how to uphold the constitution and defend patriotism during the event.

Earlier this week, both Trump and Harris campaigned in Pennsylvania. Trump and other Republicans were in Oaks, while Harris was in Erie County at the other end of Pennsylvania, which is one of the counties with the largest divide in the past two presidential elections in the state.

The simplest path for either presidential candidate to reach the threshold of 270 electoral votes is to win the three battleground states in the north, namely Pennsylvania, Michigan, and Wisconsin. Harris campaigned in Detroit on Tuesday and plans to campaign in three cities in Wisconsin on Thursday.

As part of a series of nationwide interviews, Harris is also scheduled to be interviewed by Fox News on Wednesday. Last week, she also participated in a Univision town hall event held in Las Vegas.

Trump attended a campaign event targeting Hispanic business owners in Nevada, a swing state, last Saturday in Las Vegas.

Trump also plans to participate in a televised town hall-style event on Univision, as part of his recent intensified outreach to Hispanic voters. The Univision event will be recorded in Miami and broadcast on Wednesday night at 10 o’clock.

Immigration issues play a key role in Trump’s campaign events. He hopes to gain the support of Hispanic legal voters to return to the White House while emphasizing a strong stance against illegal immigration, referring to the recent surge of illegal immigrants crossing the southern border of the United States as an “invasion.”
