According to the Emergency Management Bureau of Lingui District in Guilin, on August 21st, at around 5:40 am, an explosion involving equipment took place at a company workshop in Lingui District. Seven injured individuals were rescued and have been sent to the hospital for treatment, with three in serious condition and four with minor injuries, all currently not in life-threatening condition. One individual who was trapped was rescued but succumbed to injuries despite on-site medical efforts.
Currently, the treatment of the injured, follow-up arrangements, and investigations into the causes are underway.
