Another Chinese Youth Against Tyranny: Releases Video Calling for Resignation of CCP Leader

In Beijing, the “Situong Bridge Incident” once caused a stir, as the protagonist Peng Lifa sparked seeds of anti-authoritarianism, which are still burning among the people to this day. Recently, another young person in China openly voiced opposition to authoritarianism, using electronic devices to broadcast demands such as “Xi Jinping Step Down,” resulting in being wanted by the Chinese Communist Party.

Su Yutong, a freelance writer living in Germany, released a video on Wednesday (14th), stating, “A young mainland Chinese who promoted the movement to tear down the walls was previously framed on political charges and confined to a mental hospital. This morning, I received this video forwarded by the principal. This young person is charging ahead again.”

In the video, the young man shouted, “Oppose the CCP’s internet censorship and speech control,” “No special privileges, we want equality,” “We need freedom of speech and internet freedom.”

The youth also mentioned that he had publicly broadcast demands such as “Xi Jinping Step Down,” using equipment like routers. However, the Chinese authorities have wanted him under the guise of a “political prisoner,” raided his home, and confiscated devices including routers, laser transmitters, broadcasting modules, and phones. Now he is homeless.

This video was recorded by the young man in the wilderness, hoping that the mainland Chinese people can see through the true face of the CCP and calling for the removal of CCP leader Xi Jinping.

Regarding the young man’s daring defiance against authoritarianism, Su Yutong commented, “The seeds planted by Peng Lifan continue to burn in other places. Not long ago, Hunan youth Fang Yirong hung ‘Situong Bridge slogans’ on a bridge. We are well aware that the direct consequence of charging against authorities in mainland China is that these brave young people are thrown into prison. We believe they also know they have to pay a huge price for freedom, but they persist in moving forward.”

In the comments section below the video, many netizens expressed support for the young man’s courageous voice: “Keep it up, awakened Chinese youth.” “Thanks to every brave person.” “More and more, the spark will eventually ignite a prairie fire.” “Hope he stays safe!”

Some netizens said, “After Xi Jinping, there will be another Xi, the CCP regime is a dictatorship without supervision and restraint, only when the CCP falls will China improve.”

On October 13, 2022, known as the “Situong Bridge Warriors,” Peng Lifa (Peng Zaizhou) unfurled banners on the Situong Bridge in Beijing, with slogans such as “No nucleic acid, we want to eat; No Cultural Revolution, we want reform; No censorship, we want freedom; No leaders, we want votes; No lies, we demand dignity; We refuse to be slaves, we choose to be citizens.” This event triggered continuous protests in various places.

Chai Song, now in the United States, said in an interview with a reporter for Epoch Times, “The main spirit embodied in the Peng Lifa incident is that he knows what he is doing, knows the consequences he faces. He is willing to sacrifice himself for others, for China’s reform, and may even sacrifice his own life. This spirit is the most important influence on me. It may not be just the words, but because of his fearless spirit, his spirit of defiance against tyranny!”

In July this year, a bridge in Xinhua County, Loudi City, Hunan Province, displayed a protest banner similar to the one at Peng Lifa’s, with loudspeakers playing: “We want freedom, we want democracy, we want votes! Strike, boycott, recall the dictatorship and national traitor Xi Jinping.”

According to online sources, the one who hung the protest banner was a university student named Fang Yirong. Fang Yirong said in the video, “Tyranny is indeed terrible, but authority cannot crush human spirit. No matter how Xi Jinping persecutes us, it cannot stop the seeds of democracy from taking root and sprouting in the hearts of the Chinese people. The Yangtze River will not flow backward. I hope that the Chinese people can soon break free from dictatorship and live a better life.”
