On Sunday, May 24th, at 11 a.m., there will be a Memorial Day parade at Forest Hills. Road closures will include the section between Metropolitan Ave and Trotting Course Rd; Trotting Course Rd between Metropolitan Ave and Pole Place.
At 2 p.m. on May 24th, there will be a University Point Memorial Day parade. Road closures will be in place between 26th Ave and College Point Blvd; College Point Blvd between 26th Ave and Graham Court; 26th Ave between 120th St and Graham Court Rd; Graham Court Rd between 120th St and College Point Blvd; College Point Blvd between Graham Court Rd and 5th Ave; 5th Ave between College Point Blvd and College Place; Poppenhusen Ave between College Place and 119th St.
On Monday, May 25th, at 11 a.m., there will be a Ridgewood Memorial Day parade. Road closures will include Cypress Ave between Myrtle Ave and Putnam Ave; Myrtle Ave between Cooper Ave and Cypress Ave; Myrtle Ave between 70th St and Cooper Ave.
At 11:30 a.m. on May 25th, the Rockaway Beach National Memorial Day parade will take place. Road closures will be in effect on Rockaway Beach Blvd from Beach 130th St to Beach 94th St.
At 2 p.m. on May 25th, the Little Neck-Douglaston will host the largest Memorial Day parade in the United States. Northern Blvd between Glenwood St and 244th St will be closed off.
At 11 a.m. on May 25th, the 159th Brooklyn Memorial Day parade will take place. Road closures will be in place between 76th St and 78th St, on Ridge Blvd and Fourth Ave; 3rd Ave between 76th St and 101st St; Marine Ave between 3rd Ave and 4th Ave; 4th Ave between 101st St and Marine Ave; 101st St between 4th Ave and Fort Hamilton Parkway.
At 12 p.m. on May 25th, the 107th Staten Island Memorial Day parade will be held. Road closures will include Hart Blvd between Forest Ave and Castleton Ave; Forest Ave between Hart Blvd and Ordell Ave.
During the long weekend, due to the closure of several main roads, some bus routes are expected to be adjusted and diverted.
