On April 29, 2025, the Ministry of National Defense of the Republic of China stated that a total of 37 aircraft and ships from the Chinese Communist Party have been detected disrupting Taiwan from 6 a.m. on the 28th to 6 a.m. today. The Taiwanese military is closely monitoring and responding to these activities.
The Chinese Communist Party has been sending aircraft and ships to harass Taiwan almost daily. The Ministry of National Defense of the Republic of China announced today that from 6 a.m. on the 28th to 6 a.m. today, they detected 27 instances of communist aircraft (including 27 instances crossing the median line into the northern and southwestern airspace) and 9 communist ships, along with 1 government vessel, making a total of 37 communist aircraft and ships continuing activities around the Taiwan Strait.
According to the activity diagram near the Taiwanese airspace published by the Ministry of National Defense of the Republic of China today, on the 28th between 9:25 a.m. and 11:30 a.m., 2 Communist Party main warfare aircraft were detected in the Taiwan Strait airspace, both of which crossed the median line into the northern airspace. The Taiwanese military also detected a total of 25 instances of main and auxiliary warfare aircraft, drones, and helicopters entering the southwestern airspace from 6:30 a.m. to 8:55 p.m. on the 28th.
The Ministry of National Defense of the Republic of China stated that the military is using surveillance aircraft, ships, and missile systems to closely monitor and respond to these activities.
On the 28th, the Ministry of National Defense of the Republic of China reported that from 6 a.m. on the 27th to 6 a.m. on the 28th, they detected 29 instances of communist aircraft (including 16 crossing the median line into the northern, central, southwestern, and eastern airspace) and 10 communist ships along with 4 government vessels, totaling 43 communist aircraft and ships continuing activities around the Taiwan Strait.
According to the activity diagram near the airspace and sea area around Taiwan published by the Ministry of National Defense of the Republic of China on the 28th, from 7:35 a.m. to noon on the 27th, a Communist Party auxiliary warfare aircraft was detected in the northern airspace; from 7:05 a.m. to 6:55 p.m., 22 instances of communist main and auxiliary warfare aircraft, drones, and helicopters were detected in the Taiwan Strait airspace, with 10 instances crossing the median line; from 6:05 a.m. to 5 p.m., 5 instances of communist main and auxiliary warfare aircraft were detected in the southwestern airspace; and from 7:10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., a communist drone was detected in the eastern airspace.
Furthermore, on the 27th at 11:54 p.m., the Ministry of National Defense of the Republic of China announced that the Chinese Communist Party conducted a satellite launch mission using a carrier rocket from the Xichang Satellite Launch Center in Sichuan. The flight path of the rocket passed through the central part of Taiwan towards the western Pacific Ocean, at an altitude outside the atmosphere, posing no threat to the Taiwan region.
The Ministry of National Defense of the Republic of China specified that the military is using surveillance aircraft, ships, and missile systems to closely monitor and respond to these activities.
