“Reading Transforms Rural Schools: Emerging Elementary School Wins Reading Foundation Award”

A total of 39 students from Xin Xing Elementary School in Tianliao District, Kaohsiung City, had an average borrowing rate of 34.7 books per person. Particularly impressive is that they completed over 25 guided tours around Tianliao each month, transforming their rural school through reading. As a result, they were honored with the 2024 Ministry of Education Reading Rock Award.
