【On-site Coverage】Memorial Service for Charlie Kirk Opens

In an atmosphere resonating with grace and solemnity, the memorial service for Charlie Kirk commenced in the afternoon of September 21st with the rendition of a hymn composed by the Scottish preacher John Newton.

On the afternoon of September 21st at 2 o’clock, Eastern time on Sunday, President Trump and others gathered in Arizona to attend the memorial service of conservative youth leader Charlie Kirk.

President Trump flew on Air Force One to Arizona to participate in Kirk’s funeral. Air Force One also carried many prominent Republicans, including House Speaker Johnson, White House Chief of Staff Wells, and members of Trump’s cabinet.

Trump’s son-in-law Kushner also flew on Air Force One. Kushner had a close relationship with Kirk and played a key role in fostering a successful political partnership between Kirk and the Trump team in the “Turning Point USA.”

Vice President Pence traveled on a separate plane, following the customary arrangement of the president and his deputy attending the same event.

The White House also dispatched another plane to transport government officials wishing to attend the event.

Guest speakers:

Evangelical pastor Rob McCoy said during the memorial service, “Charlie never feared because he knew his life was safe in God’s hands.”

McCoy noted that despite some concerns about the organization’s direction, ‘Turning Point’ remains vibrant.

“Charlie Kirk lived on this earth for 31 years. What he experienced in those 31 years is richer than the combined lives of all of us,” McCoy remarked.

Benny Johnson stated, “Fighting for Charlie! Leaders wield the sword to protect the good and deter evil; hoping those in power here can be rightfully appointed and empowered, wielding the sword against the evil in our country, in memory of Charlie!”

CNN reported that local law enforcement expected 200,000 people to attend Kirk’s memorial service at the State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona on Sunday.

According to on-site reports from NTD News, some individuals have been denied entry as the venue has reached its full capacity.

Charlie Kirk, the founder of “Turning Point USA,” championed conservative principles on college campuses and online, swiftly emerging as a leader in the conservative youth movement. Notable figures attending Kirk’s memorial service today include his widow Erika Kirk, President Trump, Vice President Pence, Secretary of State Rubio, White House Chief of Staff Wells, Health Secretary Kennedy, War Secretary Haggis, National Intelligence Director Gabbard, White House Deputy Chief of Staff Miller, and Trump’s eldest son Donald Trump Jr.
