People: Kirk is the voice in the wilderness awakening the world.

On Sunday, September 21st, a memorial service for the renowned conservative activist Charlie Kirk was held at the State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona.

As the event was about to begin, a large crowd had already gathered outside the stadium. Local residents and people who had traveled from other states to pay their respects were interviewed by reporters.

One local resident, Connie Rossa, when asked about Charlie Kirk, emotionally expressed, “Charlie Kirk is like a voice in the wilderness, his voice has once again awakened the world. His voice is not silent, it resonates globally, opening people’s eyes and hearts, making the world realize that God is the God of us all.”

“We should not stay silent. We should celebrate his voice, which is now even more powerful. It reminds me of Jesus, they thought they could silence him, but his message spread throughout the world,” she continued. “Charlie is the same way. I believe he is sitting next to our Lord – Jesus.”

In recent days, the entire world has been commemorating him. Rossa said, “Yes, people’s eyes have opened. His passing brings us sadness, but through him, we have gained strength.”

Charlie’s actions have shown people that “what we need is dialogue, explanation, not violence or any other means, but to respect each other, to open hearts, and to understand the truth and the path to him.”

People chanted, “We are Charlie Kirk, we are Charlie Kirk!” Rossa said, “Because he paved the way, showing us that silence is not golden. Silence allows such tragic events to happen, things that should never happen, to anyone.”

“He also opened our eyes to pray for those celebrating during this tragedy. If you can’t understand all this, then you must pray for them because there is evil in this world, Satan does have control, making you think everything is fine. This leads people astray, breaking down family units,” she said.

“But now I feel there is a chance, I feel America has a chance, the world has a chance for healing,” she said. “We no longer turn a blind eye and walk away, but speak out and clarify, let others know the truth, and then they can make their own decisions. But violence is not the answer.”

Rossa expressed, “I’m not angry, more so saddened. Because it takes this to make people see the truth. It saddens me that such tragedies are needed to awaken people.”

She said, “I feel sadness for his family, his children, and for the world, because he was chosen, clearly he was chosen. He opened people’s eyes, opened their hearts, made them understand the truth. That is the most important thing.”

Charlie brought hope to people, hope to the world. Rossa said she never lost hope, she is also outspoken. “I always hold onto hope,” she said. “I think we have hope now, people have hope for the good.”

“I see now people starting to speak out, those who were afraid to speak now speak. It’s no longer about fighting, riots or looting, but conversing with empathy and compassion.”
