Hubei Shiyan delays reporting car collision with students by 3 days, sparking doubts.

During the Fourth Plenary Session of the Twentieth Session of the Chinese Communist Party, a car accident occurred at the entrance of Chongqing Road Primary School in Shiyan City, Hubei Province on the 22nd. Official reports were only made public three days later, stating that a “traffic accident” resulted in one death and four injuries. The 48-year-old male suspect involved has been detained, but no mention was made of the incident taking place at a school resulting in injuries to students.

According to Chinese media Observer Network, the Maodian District Branch of the Shiyan Public Security Bureau issued a police report in the early hours of the 25th, stating that around 5:30 pm on the 22nd, an accident occurred at the intersection of Wenxiu Road and Shandong Road in the Maodian District, involving a driver named Chen.

The report stated that Chen (male, 48 years old) endangered public safety by reckless means, resulting in one person being sent to the hospital and pronounced dead, while four others sustained serious injuries (none life-threatening). Multiple people suffered minor injuries, and Chen has been criminally detained.

However, the police report did not mention the incident involving a school and students.

Surveillance footage circulating online shows that on October 22nd at around 5:29 pm, at the intersection in front of Chongqing Road Primary School, where many students and parents were waiting at the traffic lights, a white BYD sedan suddenly reversed at high speed towards pedestrians, causing someone to be hit and thrown in the air, resulting in a tragic scene. The sedan came to a stop after driving a distance following the collision.

Witnesses claimed that the driver did not flee the scene after the incident but instead stood aside smoking.

In a previous report by Da Ji Yuan, witnesses described a scene where the ground was covered with injured children and adults, with approximately 20 people being struck.

Rumors circulating online suggest that the driver who struck the schoolchildren in Shiyan was a victim of the Yongbeida fund scam. Shiyan has been heavily affected by the Yongbeida fund scam in the past, which led to previous incidents of seeking justice. However, this claim remains unverified at the moment.

Local residents in Shiyan expressed to Da Ji Yuan reporters that the entire city is discussing this incident, with many speculating that the perpetrator was seeking revenge on society, but the government is suppressing such discussions.

The incident has also garnered attention from overseas netizens on various platforms, with some commenting, “Under Xi Jinping’s rule, disasters are widespread in China.” Others mentioned, “The current situation of the Communist Party’s doomsday, with endless violent incidents! The unfortunate nation, with all the roots stemming from the Communist Party.”

This suspected deliberate act of crashing as a form of social retaliation occurred during the Fourth Plenary Session of the CCP, with authorities at the time focusing on social stability. Prior to the official announcement, this news was blocked by the authorities, with all related videos on the internet being deleted except for those circulated abroad.

Regarding the delayed official report, Chinese netizens questioned, “Now sudden events are not reported, and we are just waiting for official announcements? The media has become rotten!” Some expressed, “They couldn’t cover up the event on the 22nd anymore.” Others asked, “Why did it take until today to release the news of the October 22 incident? Why is there silence from the official media?”

Some netizens also questioned, “Why was this hidden for so long?” “It’s unbelievable that a major incident resulting in injuries and deaths on October 18 was kept secret for a week!”

In the past two years, China has witnessed numerous indiscriminate attack incidents that have been either suppressed or downplayed by the authorities. Just on the eve of the Beijing National Day parade on September 2nd, a car rammed into a crowd at the north gate of Zhuangtou Park on Xinan Road in the Haizhu District of Guangzhou, Guangdong Province, resulting in multiple casualties and a horrifying scene. Many suspect this incident was an act of revenge on society, yet official reports remained silent.
